Our participation in the 2017 Metpack exhibition in Essen was a testament to our enduring legacy and commitment to excellence. Since our first attendance in 1999, we have consistently demonstrated our capabilities, and the 2017 event was no exception.

This year, we proudly presented our latest innovation: the 5 Lt Angular Can Assembly Line, model MAC/77717. Our booth was designed to highlight this state-of-the-art assembly line, which featured our iconic Can Body Welder seamlessly feeding into the new assembly line. The live demonstration captivated visitors, allowing them to witness the entire tin can assembling process in real-time.

Our Can Body Welder, known for its easy load system, effortlessly converts tinplates into cylindrical forms and welds them seamlessly. The welded cylinder bodies are then transferred to the Body Assembly Line through our meticulously designed vertical positioning and feeding conveyors. This setup not only showcased our technological prowess but also reaffirmed our commitment to quality and innovation.

Visitors from around the world were impressed by our live demonstration, many of whom are already familiar with our Automatic Seam Welding Machines. They appreciated seeing the enhanced version of our Can Body Welder in action, reinforcing their trust in our products. The 5 Lt Angular Can Assembly Line exceeded expectations, outperforming our European competitors in terms of speed and output.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the sale of our showcased assembly line to Abu Sherif Company in Egypt. Additionally, we secured a significant project with a renowned brand from Holland, involving a full set of automatic production lines for 17 Kg cans. These successes at Metpack 2017 have further solidified our global reputation and expanded our reference list of satisfied customers.

The advanced assembly line presented at Metpack 2017 includes a synchronization unit, indexing unit, expanding unit, bottom flanging unit, bottom seaming unit, body tumble unit (to invert the can for top seaming), top flanging unit, and top seaming unit. This comprehensive setup ensures top-notch performance and longevity, backed by our continuous technical support.

In a delightful twist, we also distributed thousands of tin cans with a specially designed piggy bank top cover to our visitors. This gesture was a nostalgic nod to the piggy banks of our childhood, offering a functional and stylish keepsake from Umar Makina.
