While we were showcasing our innovations at the Metpack exhibition in Essen, another exciting event was taking place: Interpack 2017 in Düsseldorf. Starting on the third day of Metpack, Interpack brought together a diverse range of packaging solutions beyond just metal, including plastic, carton, and more.

Our participation in Interpack was strategically managed by organizing a broad team of 15 people from various departments within Umar Makina, including executives from R&D, Automation, Production, and more. Half of our team moved to Düsseldorf to ensure a strong presence from the very first days of Interpack.

Unlike Metpack, which focuses exclusively on the metal packaging industry, Interpack covers all types of packaging. To align with this broader scope, we showcased our compact seaming machines at our booth. These machines are ideal for seaming both round and angular filled cans, offering versatility to a wider range of industries.

Interpack 2017 proved to be a fruitful exhibition for us. We had the opportunity to meet with a broad spectrum of customers, not only from the metal packaging sector but also from the food and other industries seeking reliable seaming solutions. Our automatic and semi-automatic seamers, known for their user-friendly design and robust performance, received significant attention and appreciation.

This strategic move of presenting our versatile seaming machines at Interpack has helped us reach further into various sectors beyond traditional can making. For instance, our product line includes seaming machines for car filters, serving the automotive industry, which highlights our ability to cater to diverse market needs.

We concluded our busy and productive days in Germany by successfully wrapping up Interpack Düsseldorf 2017. The exhibition facilitated many crucial interactions and strengthened our bonds with our extended Umar Makina family.
