This year, Umar Makina made a significant mark at the MetPack 2023 expo in Essen from May 2-6. Showcasing our advanced 1 Lt Body Assembly Line, we impressed attendees with a top speed of 80 cans per minute. Our booth buzzed with activity as we demonstrated the smooth, sustainable production capabilities of our machines.

A highlight was our innovative giveaway: cans seamed on-site and transformed into piggy banks, complete with calendars and Umar’s line render drawings. This unique promo was a hit, serving as a lasting reminder of our commitment to creativity and functionality.

In tandem, we showcased our leading Can Body Welder, renowned for its high-speed welding of 120 cpm with minimal overlap of 0.3 mm, fulfilling market demands. The machine's new touch panel and redesigned interface offer advanced data processing, aligning perfectly with Industry 4.0 requirements.

Our strategic location within the expo facilitated meaningful interactions and open talks with new contacts, capped off with a lively happy hour. Represented by a team of ten experienced engineers and top executives, Umar Makina left a lasting impression at MetPack.

Simultaneously, we participated in Interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf, where visitors experienced live broadcasts from both expos, showcasing our machines in action and highlighting our innovative approach.

It was wonderful to reconnect with our valued customers and visitors, especially as we celebrated the 51st year of Umar Makina. Our new 50 Years Umar logo prominently displayed at the top of our booth symbolized this milestone.
